H&M's new store in Glory Mall, which will have a store area of 2,300 square meters, is expected to open on Aug. 14. It will provide popular apparel products and accessories for women, men, young people and children. The company will open a 1,300-sq m store in Raffles City in Beijing on the same day.
The third new store, which will be located in ECMall in Beijing's northwestern Haidian District, will open in late autumn and will have a business area of 1,300 square meters.
The three new stores will promote H&M's profile in Beijing, said Lex Keijser, H&M's general manager for Greater China, adding that the company's price, quality and business concept is popular in Beijing, and is glad that more people will be able to enjoy H&M's apparel after the new stores open.
In April, the Swedish retailer launched its first store in Beijing in the Qianmen Street. It has opened a total of 18 outlets in China, including six in Shanghai, five in Hong Kong, two in Beijing, one in Shenzhen, and four in Jiangsu Province.
